The alt soul artist Danielle Preyar has adorned the sound spectrum with her invigorating tunes. Mostly influenced by post-disco funk to neo-soul artists such as Minnie Riperton, Michael Jackson, Patrice Rushen, Chante’ Moore and Maxwell. Danielle has created an unparalleled sound that celebrates soul music with a dash of whimsy. She writes songs with an emphasis on melody and harmony layering, creating a dream-scape of sounds from a world close to home yet far enough for a taste of escapism. Danielle’s lyrical themes focus on human perseverance such as making sense of chaos, discovering what life is all about and finding a way to move forward in spite of turmoil and confusion.

Having immersed herself in the world of songwriting and singing she continues to evolve and express her love for music. She’s active in collaborating with other artists, songwriters and producers with a mix of backgrounds and styles.

The Chicago native has been through the abyss and back and back again. In her desire to understand her role in life, she continues to discover jewels along the way that fuels her spiritually and creatively. She desires to help enrich the lives of others and invoke love, truth, beauty and happiness through the power of art and music.
